Do you or anyone in your family own property in Knox County that is on a small 15% slope?
If so please be aware that Monday February 28th Knox County Commission will vote on a change to the General Plan and all Sector Plans from the Knox County Metropolitan Planning Commission that could affect your property value and place severe limits on private property. This proposal could limit existing rights to cut trees, grade, and develop ones property in the future on some 131,000 acres in Knox county.
Please contact your Knox County Commissioner for more information and be sure to attend the Knox County Commission meeting at the Main Assembly room of the City County Building at 6:00 PM on Monday February 28th.
Also on Monday February 28th at 9:00 AM a full discussion of this topic will be on the Ed and Bob show on WNOX 100.3 FM. Gary Norvell, a Registered Land Surveyor, who resigned from the Hillside and Ridge task force will explain this controversial and harmful plan and how it will affect real estate professionals, builders, and property owners.
